Kimura® Limited Warranty

Kimura Limited Warranty

What is Covered: Great Ventures Ltd ("Kimura") warrants your Kimura product against defects in materials and workmanship when purchased directly from kimurastores.com or an authorised Kimura reseller. This warranty extends only to the original end-user purchaser and does not extend to any other person or transferee.

The warranty is valid from the date of retail purchase and lasts for as long as the original end-user purchaser owns the product. Every Kimura product carries the same lifetime warranty. There are no category exclusions and no separate warranty periods.

What is Not Covered: This warranty does not cover defects or damage arising from improper use or maintenance, normal wear and tear, sharpening, corrosion or rust caused by improper care or storage, accident, environmental factors, or external causes. Carbon steel blades develop patina and surface marks through normal use, which is expected and not a defect. Unauthorised repair, modification or customisation of your product voids this warranty. This warranty does not cover products purchased from unauthorised resellers.

What Kimura Will Do: In the case of a covered warranty defect, Kimura will, at its option: (A) repair the product using new or refurbished parts, (B) replace the product with an equivalent new or refurbished product, or (C) provide a partial or full refund of the original purchase price in exchange for return of the product.

How to Submit a Claim: For warranty service on covered defects, complete and submit the form at https://kimurastores.com/pages/warranty-registration-form. Before providing warranty service, Kimura may require proof of purchase details, including a receipt or sales invoice and product photos, and may require you to ship the product back to Kimura at your cost. Return is handled case by case, so email info@kimurastores.com to confirm the return address before sending anything. Retain the product and all of its parts until your claim has been submitted, processed and approved. For any questions about your warranty, contact info@kimurastores.com.

Your Statutory Rights: This warranty is in addition to and does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer, including your rights against the person who sold the product to you. Where you buy as a consumer, nothing in this warranty limits or excludes those rights. In the UK these rights arise under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Except for rights that cannot be excluded by law, and to the maximum extent the law allows, this limited warranty is the only warranty Kimura gives. Kimura excludes all other express or implied terms, including satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. Kimura's total liability under this warranty is limited to the original purchase price.
